Where to find it

Follow this path in your workspace

Opportunities → Pipelines → Add Opportunity

Visual guide: Select 1 in the left menu, then use 2 to begin. Labels can vary slightly as your workspace receives updates.

Step by step

  1. 01

Open Opportunities, select Pipelines, and create a pipeline whose stages match real sales milestones such as New Lead, Booked Call, Proposal and Closed.

  2. 02

Return to the Opportunities board and choose Add Opportunity.

  3. 03

Select the primary contact, then enter the opportunity name, pipeline, stage, status, value and expected close information.

  4. 04

Assign the responsible owner and any followers, add useful notes or tasks, then choose Create so the card appears on the board.

  5. 05

Move the card only when the customer reaches the next milestone; use filters for pipeline, owner, campaign or timeframe and always record a lost reason before closing an unsuccessful deal.

Small details that make this work better

  • Stages should represent customer progress, not employee activity.
  • Avoid using one pipeline for unrelated sales motions.
  • Review stale opportunities weekly.
