Where to find it

Follow this path in your workspace

Contacts → Smart Lists → Add Contact

Visual guide: Select 1 in the left menu, then use 2 to begin. Labels can vary slightly as your workspace receives updates.

Step by step

  1. 01

Open Contacts, then Smart Lists, and search by name, email, phone or business before creating a record so you do not add a duplicate.

  2. 02

Choose Add Contact for one person or Import for a prepared CSV, then store the core details, source, owner and any custom fields your process needs.

  3. 03

Open a contact record: use the left panel for fields and tags, the center panel for conversations and activity, and the right panel for opportunities, appointments, documents and payments.

  4. 04

Return to Smart Lists and use Advanced Filters to combine field, date, number, communication-preference and related-record rules with AND or OR logic.

  5. 05

Before deleting a record, confirm it is no longer required: related conversations, notes, opportunities, tasks and appointments are removed with it, although restoration may be available for a limited period.
